Which Documents Should the Company and the Driver Hold?
| Document | Held By | Why It Matters to You |
|---|---|---|
| TÜRSAB licence | The company | A registered travel agency bound by consumer protection rules; ours is A-11345 |
| D2 certificate | The company | Issued by the Ministry of Transport to carry paying passengers on pre-booked journeys |
| Passenger seat insurance | Every vehicle | Covers the people inside the car, which basic traffic insurance does not |
| SRC certificate | Every driver | The professional qualification for carrying passengers |
| Psychotechnical report | Every driver | Tests reactions and fitness to drive professionally |
These documents are held by Coşar Turizm Taşımacılık İnşaat ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti., the company behind Marhaba Service. The licence and the certificate belong to the company; the insurance follows each vehicle, and the SRC and psychotechnical report follow each driver.
How Can You Check Our Licence?
The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies has a public query page where you can search for A-11345 yourself. For any other document, write to us and we will send you a copy. We have also written a practical guide: how to check a licensed car.
What Should You Ask Any Company Before You Book?
- Its TÜRSAB number, which you can then check on the query page
- Whether the vehicle carries passenger seat insurance
- Whether the driver holds an SRC certificate
- Whether the full price reaches you in writing before you travel
A licensed company can answer all four without hesitation. If the answers are vague, that tells you something. Our own answers are on this page, and you can read more about the people who drive you on our drivers.
