Do You Pay Anything on the Marhaba Service Website?
No. Our website takes no payment and never asks for a card number. You send your trip details through our contact page, the price comes back to you, and the way you pay is agreed with the booking. If you ever receive something asking you to pay through the website, ask us before you do anything.
Which Ways to Pay Are Available With Us?
There are three, and each has its own place:
- Card: we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and this suits most travellers.
- Company transfer: bank transfer or EFT, which suits companies booking for their staff or guests.
- Cash: only after a written agreement made in advance, not on the spot without arrangement.
If you book in one person's name and pay in another's, for example when you book for your parents from another country, say so in your first message so that the arrangement is clear on both sides.
In Which Currency Are Prices Given?
Our prices are given in euros and include VAT, as in our price list. If you would prefer another currency, mention it when you book so that it can be agreed in writing.
Why Is Cash Only Accepted by Written Agreement?
So that everything is clear to everyone before the day: the amount, the currency and who receives it. If you prefer cash, say so when you book and wait for the written confirmation, rather than relying on a spoken agreement. The amount in the message is the amount you pay, whether you ride in a fixed-price car from Istanbul Airport or a fixed-price car from Sabiha Gökçen.
What Could Be Added to the Agreed Price?
As a rule, nothing. Tax, tolls and parking are included, and you pay nothing for them on the road. The only item that can change is waiting, and this is how it works:
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Tax, tolls and parking | Included in the price |
| First 60 minutes of waiting from landing | Free |
| First 15 minutes of waiting in the city | Free |
| Every 30 minutes after that, or part of it | €15 |
| Child seat on request | Free |
If you book a car and Arabic-speaking chauffeur by the hour, fuel, tolls, parking and waiting are part of the package price, and the price of any extra time is confirmed when you ask for it.
What If You Cancel the Trip?
Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before pick-up, and the details are on our cancellation and refunds page. That is why it helps to read the terms before you pay, not after.
Is Tipping Expected in Istanbul?
Not with us. A tip is not part of the price, and it does not appear in any message or invoice from us. If you liked the way the driver or the porter looked after you and want to thank them, that is up to you, in whatever amount you see fit. We do not suggest a percentage or a figure, because generosity is not something to put in a table.
With the Arabic meet and greet at Istanbul Airport, the porter and the personal assistant are included in the price, so you owe them nothing for the service itself. Anything a guest gives after that remains a gift.
Restaurants, hotels and shops have their own customs, and you can ask about them on the spot.
If you would like to say thank you another way, a kind word or a message to us about the driver reaches the person who earned it. All of this is your choice.
Will You Get an Invoice?
Yes. The invoice is issued in the name of Coşar Turizm, the company Marhaba Service belongs to. If your company is paying for the trip, send the billing details when you book. For larger bookings, such as group travel, it helps to agree the payment method and the invoice from the start.
If you are booking for guests or parents, forward them the confirmation message to keep. It shows the price and how it is paid, so they have nothing to ask about on the way.
