How Experienced Are Our Drivers?
We require at least five years of professional passenger driving. On top of that, every driver holds an SRC certificate, the professional qualification for carrying passengers in Turkey, a psychotechnical report that tests reactions and fitness to drive professionally, and a clean criminal record. Because they are on a salary and not paid by the trip, a late flight or a slow baggage belt does not cost them anything, and there is no reason for anyone to rush you.
Which Languages Do They Speak?
Everyone works in English, and some of the team also speak Arabic, Russian or German. If you would like an Arabic speaker, ask when you book: we check who is working on your date and confirm in writing what is available. If we cannot confirm it, we tell you so before you travel, because we do not promise what we cannot confirm. More on this in Arabic-speaking driver in Istanbul.
What Does the Driver Do on the Journey?
- Arrives early and lets you know when they are in place
- Carries your bags and loads them in the car
- Suggests a better road if the traffic changes
- Talks if you want to, and stays quiet if you prefer
What Should Never Happen?
- Being asked for more than the price in writing
- Another passenger getting into your car
- Being taken to a shop or restaurant you did not choose
- Being asked for your card details on the road
